Project Personnel

PROGEPP employs 78 permanent workers, and three MEFE officers. The project is managed co-jointly by a WCS project director and a MEFE project director.

Currently, PROGEPP employes 25 ecoguards. Ecoguards undergo a rigorous two-month training course at the Kabo Law Enforcement Center each year to instill discipline and build knowledge of wildlife laws, conservation issues, field techniques, and law enforcement strategies.

PROGEPP's research unit includes five ecologists and three socio-economists. The awareness-raising unit comprises two educators, while the administrative and logistical staff is composed of 15 people.
