USFWS
The Mission of the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service is to work with others to conserve, protect and enhance fish, wildlife, and plants and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people.
The USFWS has supported projects in Congo through two grant programs, the African Elephant conservation fund and the Great Ape Conservation Fund. These funds assist in the conservation of these two species, and other associated wildlife populations and habitat, by supporting and providing financial resources for conservation programs within their range states.
